Onramps to Life Together at Coastal Community Church…
Looking for ‘community’ at Coastal?
Community groups are for individuals and couples. Based on the Sunday sermon and accompanying discussion guide, community groups seek to connect God’s truth we hear on Sundays with the real questions and struggles of our lives the rest of the week. Community groups are based on “Table Talk” and create room for open discussion and exchange work based on the Sunday Sermon.
Coastal Communities opportunities:
Begin and deepen friendships.
Wrestle with honest questions raised by the sermon.
Hear how God is speaking to others through the message.
Learn new skills in listening to God, Scripture, and one another.
Pray the good news of Jesus into more and more of our lives.
Become ‘doers’ - not mere ‘hearers’- of the Word
Discover our gifts and places to serve and make a difference.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” (Jesus- Matthew 7:24-25)
We offer an open coastal community group every Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the church offices (what we call the Lowell Center) - 1825 Farroll Road, Grover Beach, CA, 93433.
This group is open to EVERYONE and is designed to raise up new leaders and start new groups as we grow. You're invited to bring some food to share with other people and join us on Tuesdays as we discuss the Scripture passage and sermon from the previous past Sunday.
We also offer a men's coastal community group every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall - 1830 Farroll Road, Grover Beach, CA, 93433.
This group is designed to raise up new leaders and start new men's groups as we grow. You're invited to bring some food to share with other guys and join us on Wednesdays as we discuss the Scripture passage and sermon from the previous Sunday.
